They ain't hand you nothing. Every line of code, every pixel pushed, every revision that nobody asked for — that's the deposit. You building a body of work that compounds whether anybody's watching or not.
The shortcuts feel good in the moment and rot in the long run. The discipline of doing it right, slow, alone, when the metrics don't flatter you — that's the architecture of somebody who lasts.
Stop looking for the hack. The hack is showing up again. The hack is caring when it's easier not to. The hack is building something so solid that the noise can't touch it.
