The Grind Is the Signal
Motivation is unreliable. Inspiration comes and goes like a weak Wi-Fi signal. But the work ? The work is always there. Same desk, same terminal, same blank file waiting for input.
You do not need to feel ready to start. You need to start to feel ready. Open the editor. Write the first line. It does not have to be good ? it just has to exist.
The signal is not in the feeling. The signal is in the doing. Every keystroke is a commitment. Every commit is momentum. Every day you show up for the craft, even when it's inconvenient, even when the energy is low ? that is the whole game.
Yesterday's output is already stale. Today's session is the only one that counts. Pull up. Get to work.
