Here is the thing about showing up: most things do not require brilliance. They require you to actually be there, doing the work, paying attention, and not bailing when it gets boring or uncomfortable.

This weekend, give yourself permission to be deliberately average at something. Go for a walk without tracking your steps. Start a sketch you will never finish. Read the first chapter of a book and put it down. The goal is not mastery. The goal is contact - with the world, with your own curiosity, with the simple fact that you have hands and time and a Saturday.

You do not need to earn rest. You do not need to justify a slow morning. The world will still be there Monday. Let today be yours.
