Looking for an easy guide to modding your Minecraft? Are you tired of searching the internet and not finding the answers you need? I was. There for I decided to create my own tutorial on how to mod your Minecraft.

Ok first things first – I will assume you already have Minecraft installed and have used it at least once.
If not head over to http://minecraft.net and pick up the latest version. You can fine it under the link that says download it here.
Ok so you want a mod because you watched a Youtube video and – yep it looks cool. Ok first things second. Where do you find that mod? Well there can be a few places you can look for it. I normally look at Minecraftmods.com or Planetminecraft.com you could also check out the Minecraft Forums
So most of the mods may require you to install another mod before you can install the mod you really want. This mod is called Minecraft Forge. This is pretty easy to install if you know what version you need. First check the mod you want. It will usually tell you what version of Minecraft works best for that mod. If the mod you want states Minecraft version 1.6.4 it will also state the version of Minecraft Forge it needs as well, usually 1.6.4
